In a West Coast Conference matchup on Thursday, January 9, the University of San Francisco Dons picked up a win on the road against the University of Pacific Tigers.
The Dons were led by point guard Avry Holmes, who had a season high 19 points.
After trailing by six at halftime, the Dons outscored the Tigers 33-27 in the second half to force overtime.
In overtime the Dons won the period 18-9 and moved into a tie with Gonzaga for first place in the WCC.
The Dons improve to 4-1 in conference play while the Tigers fall to 0-4.
