In the Big 12 preseason coaches poll the University of Kansas was again picked by coaches to win the regular season championship. Apparently the other coaches in the conference think the 12 scholarship players they have practicing at their schools aren't as good as the eight scholarship players currently practicing at Kansas.

After losing six players to the NBA draft following last season's Elite Eight performance and having three incoming freshmen declared academically ineligible by the NCAA last week, KU's roster appears to be a bit thin.
