Notre Dame: Nick Montana, 10 Other Athletes Arrested on Drinking Charges

A total of 11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish student athletes, including Nick Montana—son of former Notre Dame and San Francisco 49ers great Joe Montana—were arrested Friday night for misdemeanor underage drinking.

Also included was Notre Dame basketball player Tim Abromaitis, the team's second leading scorer last season.

A total of 42 people were arrested according to a St. Joseph Country sheriff's spokesman.

Other Notre Dame players included in the arrests were WRs Robbie Toma and Tai-ler Jones, LB Steve Filer, CB Lo Wood, offensive linemen Chris Watt and Tate Nichols, and K Nick Tausch.
