Reading some of the live reports of what was said during the press conference today, it appears U of M may have done what every university does at some point—not 'exactly' follow the rules.  This is not the big story the Free Press initially wrote up, but something tells me they'll find a way to make today's press conference into (again) something it is not. 

What it is (if you take the time to look at the quotes) is an admission that UM did not completely follow the rules:

Quality control staff were present during stretching routines.  Things like this led to an overage of two hours of additional practice time some weeks.
