Junior linebacker Marell Evans and defensive tackle Vince Helmuth have apparently left the program on good terms.

"Good, young men, sometimes that happens, guys think that 'Maybe I'm not getting a lot of reps, I'm not up on the depth chart,'" Rodriguez said after practice. "I try to remind the guys that the depth chart is not going to be solid until the first week."

Evans has left on a good note, calling Rodriguez a "stand-up" guy.
