You probably would have won.’ [...] Because I was ...

The Michigan Wolverines will attempt to continue their winning ways on Saturday, Oct. 3, taking on the Maryland Terrapins at Byrd Stadium in College Park. The Wolverines obliterated then-No. 22 the BYU Cougars 31-0 in Week 3. Maryland (2-2) must bounce back from a 45-6 beatdown at the ...

Posted by Brian Leigh on September 28 2015 Add Comments
College Football Playoff contenders are like stocks: Buy when they're low and rising, sell when they've peaked. Four weeks of games have vaulted some teams up the board and dropped others down lower than usual, but only some of that movement will last. Last year's post-Week 4 Associated Press rankings had Oklahoma at No. 4, Auburn at No. 5, Texas A&M at No. 6…Ohio State at No. 22 and TCU at No. 29. See how much can ...

Another exciting week of college football is in the books, and while Week 4 didn't necessarily pack the same shocking punch that Week 3 did, there were still some surprising results.  With big wins from schools like Utah and UCLA, along with some of the top teams like TCU just squeaking by, the newest AP poll looks plenty different compared to last week's edition. Let's take a look at the most recent Top 25 rankings and how ...

Even without many changes to the Top 10, a few West Coast blowouts helped change the perception for a number of college football teams heading into Week 5.    Utah surprised almost everyone with a dominant road performance at Oregon, while UCLA easily handled Arizona on the road. USC also had a nice bounce-back showing against previously ranked Arizona State.  These games paired with a bunch of scares for top teams led to a brand-new Top 25. ...

Meet Jerry Tillery, College Football’s Most Fascinating Freshman

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Ask his teammates about Notre Dame football freshman defensive lineman Jerry Tillery, and the responses will typically be joined with smiles and laughter. “So Jerry is a …” says senior defensive lineman Romeo Okwara, who pauses with an ear-to-ear grin, searching for an unattainable mix of words, “… very goofy—I’m not really sure how to explain him—loopy. There’s a lot of adjectives I could use to describe Jerry.” “He’s a unique cat,” senior ...
