When a high school football player signs his letter of intent to attend the university of his choice, he does not anticipate losing 21 games in his college career. Alas, most of the 23 players who enrolled at Notre Dame in 2008 closed their career with a 29-21 record. By Notre Dame standards, the record is subpar, especially for a class ranked second in the country by Rivals.com. However, remember that these kids took a ...

Following Week 2 of the 2011 college football season, the LSU Tigers took over the No. 1 spot in my National Top 25 rankings. From that point on, the Tigers held the top spot in the rankings for 13 straight weeks. College football is built on tradition and passion. Fan support is everything. There is a reason that Saturdays in the fall fill multiple 100,000-seat stadiums. The NFL may have the TV viewers, but the atmosphere and passion of an NFL stadium cannot match the college game. Whether we like it or not, the annual debates also make college football special. Not many like the BCS, but without it would there be hours and hours of college football ...

LSU was not the formidable foe as predicted on the field, but what about off the field?Represented by a ferocious tiger, it seems pretty safe to say that this beast would ...

You would never know that the program was just punished by the NCAA.But Meyer's not done yet. In fact, he has a legit chance ...
