The Virginia Tech Hokies enter the 2012 season having to replace eight starters on the offensive side of the ball. Fortunately for the Hokies, rising junior quarterback Logan Thomas returns.

If Thomas progresses as rapidly as he did in 2011, he could find himself a top-10 pick in the 2013 NFL draft. It won't be easy, as Thomas will have four new starters on the offensive line.

The Hokies could be more of a pass-first team in 2012, at least in the early part of the season, as the Hokies return three senior wide receivers. 

It is never too early to look ahead to the 2012 schedule and project how Thomas will fare in each game.
