A 2-0 start has eluded Mike Riley’s squad since the 2005 campaign.  Coincidentally, the last time the Beavers’ have had a losing season was also in 2005.  Nevertheless, a win at UNLV would keep the slim hopes of an undefeated season alive.

A win would more importantly prove that this year’s team is ready to end the consecutive seasons of slow starts and receive a major bowl bid.
