The Combine can single handedly make or break an up and coming prospect in pursuit of the NFL. Husker fans who follow their former heroes at the Combine are well aware the impact that goes with a solid performance for the scouts.

At the 2004 NFL Combine, former Husker corner back Fabian Washington set a Combine record by running a 4.25 40 yard dash. What team in the NFL covets speed the most? Al "Just Win Baby" Davis fell in love with that 40 time, and spent the 23rd pick in the first round on the former Husker from Bradenton, Florida.

Can we expect a breakthrough performance out of a Husker in this year's Combine? Yes, we most definitely can.
