Leach Leaving Lubbuck Means It’s No Longer House of Horror for Sooners

LUBBOCK, TX—Murphy's Law has been in full effect for the Oklahoma Sooners in Lubbock, Texas.

Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Bad play, bad blowouts, bad injuries, and questionable calls among many other things. 

The Sooners have not won in Lubbock since 2003. They have had no such trouble with any other divisional opponent.

The 2009 blowout had the least impact of the three losses. In 2007, Tech knocked out Bradford early, and in turn, knocked OU out of the national championship race.

OU returned the favor in 2008 by destroying Texas Tech in Norman and creating a three-way tie that eventually sent OU to the Big 12 and BCS championship games over both Texas Tech and Texas.
