Lane Kiffin seems to have a nasty habit of opening mouth and inserting foot. This week was no exception.
You can call it nostalgic, call it memorable, or call it grasping for straws, but Lane Kiffin was asking (if you're a Tennessee fan), or whining (if you're an Alabama fan) about getting Alabama to allow them to wear their home jerseys this weekend in Tuscaloosa.
Mal Moore, the Alabama Athletic Director, said no and here's where it gets interesting. If it meant that much to Lane to wear those orange jerseys against a team he's never coached against in a game he's never watched in person he could have.
