This week's results are official. The BCS has finally released their first poll. All computers are in and Florida, Alabama, and Texas all seem to be in control of their own destiny. Boise State is ranked astoundingly in fourth place—the highest ranking of a non-BCS team ever.

The playoff picture changed again this week as No. 3 Virginia Tech lost to No. 17 Georgia Tech. Undefeated Cincinnati has now ascended into the Four-Team playoff.
