WTVR of Richmond, VA reported yesterday that Virginia Tech will play Boise State for the opening game of the 2010 season.

Tech was left with an empty slot in their schedule after Syracuse backed out of a deal to play them in 2010 and 2011.

The game will be played at FedEx field in Washington D.C. (pictured above).

The date and time have not been announced and will likely be determined by television schedules.
