South Florida offensive lineman Benjamin Knox was arrested Sunday and charged with firing a gun on campus.

According to police records obtained by WFLA, Knox allegedly shot a gun at the side of the dormitory building where he lives on campus. Police did not find Knox when responding to calls about the gunshot but were able to identify him when they found an open gun case and a box of rounds near his car.

He was charged with "possessing or discharging a firearm on campus and shooting into an occupied dwelling," per Bleacher Report - College Football
