Arizona Wildcats Act Quickly To Replace Mark Stoops

Not even two days have passed and the Arizona Wildcats have already found their replacement for former defensive coordinator Mark Stoops.

It appears that Arizona will name Greg Smith, the University of Colorado's defensive back and defensive passing game coordinator, to be the defensive back coach and co-defensive coordinator.

Brown comes with tremendous pedigree at Colorado, coaching two Jim Thorpe award winners; Deon Figures, 1992, and Chris Hudson, 1994.

Brown has spent the past four years in second stint with the Buffaloes. Before that he held coaching jobs for 15 years with six different NFL teams.

The Wildcats also went internal with the hire, splitting the job in two. Mike Stoops will name linebacker...
