Connecticut has lost one of its prized basketball recruits for 2017, as Zach Brown has decommitted from the Huskies.
Per Evan Daniels of Scout.com, Brown and UConn agreed to a mutual parting of ways after he committed to the program in January.
Per David Borges of the New Haven Register, Brown had a "positive" conference call with Connecticut head coach Kevin Ollie. Borges also noted that it just wasn't the right fit for Brown and the Huskies.
