Providence rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to win 81-73 at Butler, opening Big East play with a huge road victory and continuing its best start in 26 years.

The 12th-ranked Friars (13-1, 1-0) trailed 36-25 at the half but put up 56 points in the final 20 minutes, shooting 56.7 percent in the process. They were 9-of-12 from three-point range in the second half, with Rodney Bullock draining six threes overall.

Bullock had a game-high 25 points along with 10 rebounds, while Kris Dunn had 20 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. Ben Bentil added 19 points.
