NCAA Basketball Needs to Add a Restricted Area

I know you've sat there many of times and watched a questionable charge get called on a defender on your favorite college team. Sometimes it is close. Was he under the basket? Was he set? Was he too far under the basket?

The answer should be simple, yes or no. In the NBA you can see a player's feet when he sets up for a charge. You can tell if they're in the restricted area because of the semi-circle under the hoop. Why hasn't college basketball instituted this rule yet? It seems so simple and could add so much more clarity to offensive fouls in the paint or on the drive.

College basketball has usually adopted the rules of pro basketball even if they alter them just a little to fit the college game better. It really started...
