Maryland Vs. Penn State Preview: Who Wins This ACC/Big Ten Battle

As part of the ACC/Big Ten challenge this year, the Maryland Terrapins will head to University Park to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions. Both of these teams have a player who can put points up in bunches, but those scorers are not surrounded by as much talent.

For the Terps that talented player is Jordan Williams. The 6'10", 260 lb big man is averaging a double-double so far this year at 17.4 ppg and 11.9 rpg. Penn State really lacks a big man down low who can slow down Williams, so as long as he stays out of foul trouble—something he has struggled to do at times this season—he should have a big game.
