The 2012 NBA Draft was essentially a long infomercial promoting Kentucky basketball. The school set two records on draft day, as Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist became the first set of teammates to be selected first and second overall in NBA draft history. In addition, six Kentucky players were drafted, setting a record for total draftees.
