Final Four 2012: Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Show They Are the 2 Best

It's quite a rarity for the best player in college basketball to be a freshman.  Even more rare for the two best to be freshmen.  Rarer still for those two freshmen to play for the same team.

Player of the Year Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist proved in tonight's win over Louisville they are just that.  The two best basketball players not yet in the NBA.

Davis was absolutely sensational, as he has been all season.  He entered the evening averaging 14.3 points, 10.1 rebounds and 4.6 blocks per game.  In a 69-61 victory, he scored 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting, he grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked five shots.
