The defending conference tournament champion Virginia Cavaliers will attempt to illustrate their ACC superiority once again, but they will have to do so against a tough field that showcases several top teams and some of the nation's elite players.

A pool format will be used for the tournament. The winner of Pool A, which includes Florida State, Virginia, Clemson and Georgia Tech, will battle the winner of Pool B, featuring North Carolina, N.C. State, Miami (Fla.) and Wake Forest, in the title game on Sunday.
