The Clemson Tigers added another weapon to their passing game for the 2016 season. Wide receiver Tavares Chase, a 4-star prospect, revealed that he's headed to "Death Valley," per Paul Strelow of Rivals.com: According to 247Sports' composite rankings, Chase is the 32nd-best wideout for 2016 and 137th-best player overall. TCU's ascent to national relevance in 2014 is continuing to pay dividends. Courtney Lark, a 4-star receiver out of Bellaire (Texas) High School, committed to the Horned Frogs on Saturday, spurning offers from Baylor and Nebraska among others. Florida's Dorian Finney-Smith broke his game-long scoring drought Tuesday night in one of the most dramatic ways possible. The junior forward threw down a hammer dunk against Alabama that ended up winning it for the visiting Gators.Finney-Smith's jam finished off Alabama, 52-50. California's passing game was just upgraded, as wide receiver prospect Carlos Strickland has decided to commit to the school. Cory Batey and Brandon Vandenburg, two former Vanderbilt football players charged with raping a female student in June 2013, were found guilty on all counts by a Nashville jury on Tuesday. According to a report from The Tennessean—which contains graphic descriptions of the charges—the jury found Batey and Vandenburg guilty on a total of 16 charges.
